In Five Years

I haven’t posted anything in a week, been a bit busy, so here’s a quick update on what’s been going on.

Tues/Wed last week were just busy evenings at home, not much to say about them, just had lots to do.

Thursday was my future sister-in-law’s birthday dinner so we went out and got home late.

Friday I got out of work early so decided to have an impromptu cookout. So I had to run to the store, get the gas filled for the grill, and get everything setup. Then we had a nice evening with family and friends.

Saturday I was up early to go play paintball for a bachelor party. Then the rest of the day was a cookout and then out to a bar in the evening. Paintball is far more of a workout than I anticipated, but I had a great time. I also have tons of bruises from being shot, but still worth it.

Sunday was the first sailing race of the year. We had two races, finished 1-2. Took the evening off cause I was so exhausted.

Monday was the last race of the regatta, finished the race in second, finished first overall. Stuck around the yacht club for some food and drinks, then went to see Pirates 3 (which was pretty good). Got home late and just crashed.

So it’s been a pretty busy, but very good week. I’ll resume more regular posts going forward.
