Friday was Day 2. I did get hungry a little in between some of the meals, but it wasn’t anything where I had to go eat right away, I could wait until the next meal easily. Plus, since it’s 3-3.5 hours between meals, it’s not that hard to wait.
The workout on Friday went well, I’m still going light on the weights, I’ll have to add a little next time around. I was able to easily finish the sets and could have done more, instead of just barely getting through them. Hopefully adding more weight doesn’t prevent me from getting through them ![]()
Saturday’s meals were pretty good. We’ve just been eating the same thing every day for simplicity. It takes a lot to make a different meal everytime, and it’s usually a big waste, especially when they require different ingredients. Making the same thing also helps us out with the time factor, as we can make a bunch of one thing, then just refrigerate it.
Took Saturday off from the workout. Originally I was going to take Sunday off, as that’s the “cheat day.” But Whitney convinced me to switch it to Saturday, pointing out that I should probably work out on the cheat day. So, I moved it.
Sunday was the “cheat day” where you can eat whatever you want. We usually go to breakfast at a little place by us every week, so we did that. Didn’t go crazy or anything, just the usual. It’s nice not to always have to worry about what you eat, but I noticed I was a little more conscious of it. Sunday evening was definitely a cheat, as we went to a party for friends. I had some whiskey sour’s, ice cream, and a larger than I should have had meal. Neither of us thought we’d feel it as much as we do. There’s a definite difference in how we felt this morning after eating junk yesterday. Or rather, not really junk, but not really the best stuff either.
We actually worked out in the morning right after getting out of bed. I’d never managed to actually do that before, so it was a pretty big win for me. We did the same thing this morning and I hope to be able to keep it up and make it a new habit.
So it’s going well so far! We’ll keep it going, and I’ll keep posting about it here!
